Buying butter in Chinatown

I live in Chinatown and I have yet to discover this...does anyone know if any of the stores in Chinatown sell butter?? I've checked several over the years and can never find it...maybe you know?

I would think at the very least TNT would have it - over by International Village.

yeah but this is not really IN Chinatown, this is quite far from all the stores I shop at... plus that's already where I walk to in order to get it :) But it's like a 45min return trip just for a stick of butter.

Any idea of stores further IN Chinatown where all the grocery stores are? (around Main & Pender for example)

T&T is at Keefer and Abbott...i think it's 4 blocks from Pender and Main. i think that's right?

Yes but it is a 45min return walk for me. I'm looking for one of The many little grocery stores in the very heart of Chinatown, I shop at these stores, does anyone know of any of these stores that carries butter? I'm just tired of having to add 45min to my grocery trip for one item. Plus at 7:30am when I'm making toast I just want to run out my door and get butter. That's what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know if any of the stores around Main/Gore from Pender to Union carries butter?

I used to live at Gore & Pender and I would walk 2 or 3 blocks to the Sunrise Market on Gore. It's the best market actually for almost everything - great prices. There is also Benny's & the Wilder Snail in Strathcona.
