Hello, I want to ask you, where is a good place to live in Vancouver for a young family immigrated from European country with 2000 - 3000 $ salary? Thank you and sorry for written mistakes. I'm still learning english.

Are you firm on living in Vancouver? Is there a job holding you there? Vancouver is incredibly expensive. If you head east a ways, suddenly living becomes financially possible. I'd recommend the Fraser valley - Abbotsford is a nice, affordable city that's a 1 hour drive from Vancouver (on a good day).

If you want to live in a conservative, religious city.

It's not so bad. I'm neither religious nor conservative and I lasted 4 years there.

1 hour drive from Vancouver (on a good day)

I strongly disagree with this, especially during rush hour (5:30-9am westbound, 2:30-6:30pm eastbound) it takes more like 2 hours. If commuting to Vancouver is a must, I think the quality of living is better with a tiny rental in Vancouver and not owning a car.

OP, how big is your family? Do you need a lot of space? How old are the children?

Well sure, that's why I said on a good day. With the new Port Mann, my commute to Vancouver during rush hour was 1.5 hours tops.

That's good to hear, back when I last lived in Surrey trying to cross the Port Mann was an exercise in frustration. And a good workout for my air conditioning.

There are a lot of much more afforable places to live just outside of Vancouver that might fit your budget of $2-3,00 a little better. Burnaby has some great big houses and New Westminster is VERY affordable and the city is really invested in the community.

Welcome to beautiful British Columbia!
