Driving Lessons

Hello,

I know this has been asked before but I did a search and I couldn't find anything...

I would like to take some driving lessons to prepare for my N exam. I have almost no driving experience so I would like to start out with the basics with an instructor. Once I've got the hang of it I can practice with my boyfriend to get comfortable in a vehicle but he's been driving for so long that I don't want to pick up whatever bad habits he has (that he might not even be aware of). Can anyone recommend a driving school to me? Anything I should watch out for? I've been commuting by bike for years now so I am hopeful that that will help the learning process (I already shoulder check like crazy!).

Thanks!

Where are you located?

I went with Best Driving School in Burnaby and they were pretty good. I passed my N test with flying colours (the tester was bored) and so did my husband who went with them as well.

I definitely should have mentioned that in the post. I'm in the Mount Pleasant area.

I took my classes at Fraser Driving School on Commercial and 12th. I'm a super nervous driver but I got my N without any points taken off, so that's got to be a good sign!

My son just passed his driving exam after taking few lessons with Victoria Driving School. Google if interested.
